A chassis dynamometer smoke tester (CDST) is used to test diesel emissions when the engine is under load. This is of course a much more realistic test than the commonly used free acceleration test. It is also better for the diesel engine.
During a CDST test an automatic test cycle is performed, whereby the emission is measured at different engine loads. The monitor shows checks and actions to perform before the test, shows real-time measuring data and instructions for the driver during the test, and the end results after the test.
Chassis dynamometer smoke tester for vehicles up to 6000 kg axle weight.
Chassis dynamometer smoke tester for vehicles up to 14000 kg axle weight.
Chassis dynamometer smoke tester for tandem axle vehicles with a maximum tandem axle set weight of up to 24000 kg. The distance between the main rollers and the tandem axle rollers is adjustable.
All models come with the roller bed with axle lift and disc brakes, the controller and relay boxes, a hydraulic pump unit for axle lift, roller brakes and side rollers, and with a big cooling fan to place in front of the vehicle.
